Audio Player

You can use the Audio Player to play an audio file in your iOS app.

After adding a Alert View to your screen, you will find this item in the Outline in the Objects folder.

The following file formats are supported:

• mp3
• m4a
• mp4
• mpeg

Properties

To show the properties of the Audio Player, click the Properties tab (the slider icon) in the upper right sidebar.

• Name
  Here you give the element a name. This name is only used within appdoo. For example, you can quickly see in the outline where each Audio Player is located. You can also edit the name by double-clicking on the Audio Player in the outline. We recommend that you assign unique names when working with Data Links.

• Audio File
  Select the audio file of your appdoo project to be played.

  • Import…
    Here you can import an audio file from your Mac into your appdoo project.

• Play Immediately
  Activate this checkbox to start playback immediately when the screen is displayed.

• Play Button
  Here you have the possibility to start and stop the playback of the Audio Player within appdoo.
